125 Years Musica Starnberg: Festive Sounds of Great Composers

Musica Starnberg celebrates its 125th anniversary with a festive concert in the Schlossberghalle Starnberg. On November 22, 2026, a varied program featuring works by significant composers will be presented: Johann Sebastian Bach, Edward Elgar, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Johannes Brahms, and Antonín Dvořák.

Festive Music for the Anniversary

The anniversary concert connects several epochs and musical styles. The selected works by Bach, Elgar, Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Dvořák represent a demanding classical concert program and provide a worthy musical framework for this special occasion.

For 125 years, Musica Starnberg has been connected to music. The concert invites everyone to celebrate this extraordinary anniversary together and to experience classical works in the Schlossberghalle Starnberg. The focus is on the music itself: from the Baroque sound language of Bach to the romantic compositions of Mendelssohn, Brahms, and Dvořák to Edward Elgar's versatile oeuvre.

Venue in Starnberg

The performance will take place in the Schlossberghalle Starnberg. Thus, the anniversary concert offers a fixed venue in Starnberg and a suitable setting for an evening of classical music. Visitors can look forward to a festive concert program featuring five prominent composers.
